neverlikethat: people post song lyrics and credit it to bands that actually did cover versions, like ‘you’ve got the love’ and people credit florence… or ‘i can’t make you love me’ and people crediting bon iver. Ok, they’re versions may be more well known and better in many peoples’ opinions (mine included) but they didn’t write the lyrics dammit. YES.
